Microsoft updates manually windows 10

My internet speeds are extremely slow, and my connection is very flaky. Is there a way to disable the new Windows 10 update from automatically downloading onto my computer, and change this to be done manually? I would like to take my computer to a different location that is more reliable and has faster internet speeds, download the update manually, and then return it back to it’s current location after the update is complete.

If I can’t do this the automatic download will completely tie up all of my bandwidth, thus making access to my internet connection completely unusable for at least an entire week. Believe it or not, not all people in the world have access to breakneck internet speeds yet and cannot function with all of these little background programs eating up bandwidth.
